This states that there is a footrest but it does not! The seat is quite high so a short person would have trouble hoisting themselves onto it. I'm sure it's because there is no footrest so you need to sit high for your feet to dangle if used as a transport chair. We wanted to love the rolator walker/wheelchair. Couldn't happen. The assembly instructions were awful! Even the preassembled pieces were not correct. The footrest might work for a small 12 year old. Otherwise the footrest angles too high for comfort, even for a 5'3" 130# woman. The angle is not correct. One of the main reasons we selected this walker/wheelchair was the claim of the weight of 15.6 pounds. It weighs 20 pounds. Those 4+ pounds make a difference for a person with respiratory issues. I have to angle them to sit in the cart, they don't lay flat against the handles. It's about 5/8" too narrow between the two rails. I have the padded folding metal chairs which are standard size. These chairs have: arms, nice width on the seat, decent back support, decent cushion, upholstery that's easy to clean, and who knew that I needed the swivel...but that's the icing on the cake so to speak. Assembly was easy. These are comfortable. They wipe down well. Yes, some crumbs get caught in certain parts of the construction but it wipes right out. I prefer the low backs as my dining table floats in my room. These chairs are like a dining room version of a club or game table chair, which is perfect for our home. These chairs make sitting around the table a pleasure. Comfortable for dining, the long conversation that may continue at the table when guests are over, and sitting for long periods to play games. There's enough room in the seat to adjust your position for those long sits and the cushion is just enough to pad but offer support. And bonus, they are really attractive with a pretty color.
