The couch was perfect for our space. It was a little smaller than expected, but still big enough for 2 of us. I love the fact that I can choose which side I want the arm rest on, as well, as recline the backrest for better lounging. I think the only thing I didn’t like about this couch is that the drawers looked like they should hold blankets and such, but are really only half deep, so couldn’t even fit our small throw pillows. Do not buy. It is cheap and not worth the price point. and the drawers did not slide in smoothly. After being unbelievable unhappy with the item and arranging for return was horrible. We did not have the original packaging as we were not expecting to be this disappointed with item. Wayfair needed to schedule with their bparty to pick up and that was a complete inconvenient process. They’re is a lack of communication on scheduling pick up and extremely challenging to get someone on the phone to address the issue. After waiting for 20 mins on hold with 3rd party they said the pick up had been scheduled and I was notified, which I was not. I am normally very patient and understanding with the process however bc of the lack communication and Wayfair not able to give me a clear answer but only provide platitude’s I would avoid buying large dollar items from Wayfair! So easy to put together even by yourself--only need to attach the arm rests and legs. No tools needed as.the screws and hex key are provided. The hardest part was taking it out of the box (or in my case, ripping the box away from the couch). As a couch, it feels great if you like stiffer support, like I do. If youre looking for a cloud to sit on, this aint it. Similarly the bed portion is kinda of stiff for sleeping but its easily solved by a mattress topper. Its super easy to fold and unfold, but mine didnt come with directions, so here are some tips. To flatten it to a bed, unfold the seat to flat first. Then unzip the pockets in the back of the backrest and unbend the legs for the backrest. After, gently pull the backrest forward first (like the backseat of your car when youre trying to get to your trunk from the inside of your car) and then push it all the way back to the floor. If you want to recline, you have to pull it up to the desired angle from the flat position. Note, the back has a huge exposed zipper (see pic) so if you dont put it against a wall, youll probably want a throw blanket or something else to hide it. Fair warning, it seems smaller than a twin in terms of width so larger guests and guests who roll in their sleep may feel uncomfortable with the width.
