Great bed frame! I was a tad worried about the 500 pound weight limited listed because including the weight of my heavier wood mattress foundation, the mattress, and two adults in healthy weight conditions we were still over that limit by maybe 40 pounds. We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. The frame is more beautiful in person. It was a little darker in color than I hoped but still worked with my existing furniture. The head and foot board and side panels are completely solid! It looks to be very strong and sturdy but I was disappointed to see a single wooden beam in the middle of this solid frame.
