I do love these chairs! I assembled them by myself. I am 74 years old and it was easy Peezy. Each one took about 40 minutes. It would've been faster if I could have found the correct bit for my impact driver and if I hadn't kept dropping the Allen wrench. They are large! As others have mentioned, the seat cushion is pretty firm. They are deep cushions, but with a pillow from the sofa, it is perfect for an average height person. Absolutely love this chair! I got as a reading chair, and it is a classic and timeless look. I am 5’2, and it has a deep enough seat to rest my legs on it. It was also extremely easy to assemble. The only downside was the bottom corners had small smudges on them, I am assuming from shipping. I was able to remove with stain remover so wasn’t a big deal and also again on the bottom so unnoticeable. The chair is on the firmer side but think it will soften over time so I don’t mind it! This chair is actually pretty comfortable as a lightly used side chair.
