It’s a nice bookcase. Directions were correct but drilled holes on cross piece in back were wrong causing the finished side to be down. Cant see it though. Quality nice, color true to the pic. File cabinet is a nice piece of furniture but it was a beast to assemble. It took me six hours to assemble it; two of the six hours could have been avoided if I have secured the cabinet to the wall. After assembling the cabinet and placing the folders it was really wobbly, so I decided to secure the cabinet to the wall. Update to original review. Wayfair took care of the issue immediately, and better than I expected. We now have a lateral file cabinet that has drawers that pull out easily, and no split wood on the front of the cabinet. No more struggling to get a drawer open. Thank you Wayfair! The top drawer is very difficult to pull out. The bottom drawers pulls out fine. I tried spraying silicone on the extension brackets on the side of the drawer, but it did not help. When I looked closer there is a small split in the wood that I am hoping their furniture doctor can fix. This piece of furniture for a $1000 was not worth the money considering the quality.. Debra. This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom.
