After assembling the stool I found it to be very sturdy. The assembly instructions were not very good but luckily it was not hard to figure out what goes where. It would have been helpful had the bag of bolts and washers in the box had not been slit open while packing or in transit. The bamboo wood shower bench is finely finished by three times coats of waterproof varnish. But to prolong its service life, please dry it after shower and regularly ventilate.
