I absolutely love the look of this sideboard. The wood tone and woven door fronts give it a high-end, modern organic feel that looks much more expensive than it is. Assembly is definitely easier with two people. It’s more involved than many flat-pack furniture pieces, but if you take your time, the end result is well worth the effort. Working mostly by myself I was able to assemble the cabinet in about three hours. My only suggestion is regarding the cabinet door installation. The instructions have you attach the hinges to the doors first and then install the doors after the cabinet is fully assembled. We found it much easier to install the hinge hardware on the cabinet frame before putting the top on, then attach the doors as the final step. It’s still a little fiddly, but it saves you from trying to drive tiny screws into a cramped, dark space once everything is assembled. The only critique I have is the predrilled holes for one of the three door handles is slightly higher than the other two (see picture). Small flaw, but enough that it is noticeable. I’ve been searching for a statement piece like this for a long time something that felt substantial, was solid wood, and had a contemporary design without being overly trendy. This sideboard checked all the boxes. It was delivered by Wayfair’s White Glove team and arrived securely packed in a wood crate and fully assembled, which was a huge plus. The quality and craftsmanship are beautiful. The piece appears to be solid walnut, and the carved wave design flows continuously across all four doors, which makes it feel very custom and high-end. Even the back of the cabinet is fully finished in walnut, not particleboard or plywood, so it can be placed where the back may be visible. My only disappointment is the color. The sideboard I received has a strong orange undertone that wasn’t depicted in the online photos, so that was definitely a surprise. I considered returning it because of the color, but ultimately decided to keep it because the quality, craftsmanship, and design outweigh the tone for me.
