We’ve had several wood stove kettles. What we liked about this one is the vents in the lid which allow for more steam to be released. One inconvenient feature is that the knob on the lid is very small. When the kettle is hot, you need to use a glove to lift the lid. It’s difficult to grasp the knob with a bulky fireplace glove. The AW1120E-P wood stove meets the stringent requirements of the EPA "Step 2" 2020 Certification Guidelines. This wood stove has 68,000 BTUs that can heat up to 1,200 square feet. The Ashley AW1120E-P burns logs up to 18" in length while the pedestal base provides an elegant touch to any room. Here's how it works: the primary air inlet at the front of the stove ignites the wood upon start-up. Once burning, the secondary air inlet at the rear of the firebox feeds air to the top of the stove through three (3) ignition tubes directly above the wood. The result is that you have ignition, or fire, at the bottom and at the top of the wood stove which, in effect, consumes the wood. I will start with Wayfarer customer service once I went up the ladder, I was refunded and item picked up. Even bought in October picked up in end of April. I removed from crate and there were no markings on the stove, no testing information no paperwork. Not even a name on wood burner. The pizza oven was maybe large enough to fit a dessert plate and odd angle. Comes out of Colorado, it is against the law to sell a wood burner in USA that has not been tested.
