I bought 2 ladder bookcases for my son's room. They arrived quickly, although the delivery was a mess, and my husband had them together in a few minutes. The only thing I didnt like about this shelf was that there was no recommended installation drawings. By that, I mean there was nothing that said if the vertical pieces had to be a specific dimension from each end of the boards. I just did what I wanted. I like the design. For anyone that has books or dvd's it maybe hard for them to prop up alone without support. Only issues is the packers at the warehouse or manufacture packed it with scuffs in the black paint on multiple parts. I tried to hide them toward the back side. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure.
