I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper. This is a great sturdy and handsome piece of furniture. Made of beautiful hard wood and metal frame. The finish is a little darker than I thought it would be, but still a perfect match for my bedroom, where I use it for my computer, printer and other items. There are adjustable feet at the bottom of the four legs, in case your floor is uneven, etc. This is a really nice piece. Unlike some other folks here who left reviews, mine does not have any strange or strong scent. It smells completely fine and normal. Everything came well packaged, with just the right amount of packing materials. There was a slight (very small) chip on the very bottom of the shelf I used on the bottom. Not from shipping, likely a small defect in manufacturing. They offered me a 15% discount and I accepted. I turned that shelf to face the back and I am satisfied. Absolutely love these shelves!! We need the perfect something for the kitchen wall that had no cabinets and these shelves were definitely it. Perfect size and fit for what we wanted. Look great and so easy to install. It has a video that shows yiu exactly how to install them. Maybe took 10 minutes to have them both up and sturdy on the wall. The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. Great shelf design, genuinely adore how it turned out. Only thing is it STUNK like bug spray and we had to wipe down everything and air it out outside to mitigate the smell.
