We purchased the blue bunks. The color is beautiful for our grandsons big boy room. My husband assembled the beds in 3- 3 12 hours. The parts were labeled and ready to go. One person can easily assemble the beds but it does require a second person to help lift the beds. The color matches the dresser perfectly. Beautiful! I did pay for assembly and one person came and assembled it by himself but it took a couple hours and I had to help lift the top bunk up. It’s pretty sturdy. Very nice piece for the price. This bunkbed is really nice looking and solid and a great bargain. The bed gets 5 stars. HOWEVER, assembly was an atrocious process and would earn negative stars. None of the parts were labeled. Each piece had multiple patterns of holes on several sides and trying to line them up facing the proper way was a process. The instructions are almost nonexistent- just very small pictures with confusing arrows everywhere. Once everything was lined up appropriately it really wasn’t hard to put together but labels and written instructions would make a huge difference. This product is really nice! Everything seems really sturdy and all the wood pieces fit nicely together, except for one stairs bar which won’t tighten fully and therefore is a little wobbly (I’ll be contacting the seller to hopefully get a replacement piece.) Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!.
