I really love these chairs. They are sturdy, great quality, and the wood is beautiful. They were also a great price. My only complaint is they are bluish gray and not actually charcoal as pictured and advertised, which is not at all what I was going for. I've added a picture of them against a gray wall in my home. Modern Chair of wood and metal. The box of 2 arrived in good condition. There are 3 pieces to each chair and are easily assembled with one person. The chair is very sturdy and comfortable with the extended arm rests. I wanted an upscale modern natural wood chair that did not look like country and this definitely fit that bill. However, I did not understand that the crossbar beneath the seat on the sides is made of metal not wood like the cross bar in the front and back. This was not apparent to me in the picture. They did a good job matching the paint color of the metal bar to the color of the Wood tone. The sturdiness is probably the result of that metal but not exactly what I had in mind. I wish it was all wood. You can see the metal bars in my pictures. I gave it four star because I love the design but dont like the metal piece as much as I would have liked all wood.. Alesia. I’m giving 4 stars for the customer service not the product. I bought the chairs in the walnut color, but they look nothing like the photos online. They are very orange and I was expecting a medium to dark brown. Additionally, if anything touches the seat it’s going to immediately stain and there is no cleaning them and they smell like chemicals. I went to process the return online but it wanted to charge me $100. I called customer service and asked them to please waive the charge for my return since the product was drastically different from what is advertised and they honored it. I wouldn’t suggest this product but will continue to purchase from wayfair because of my positive experience. Chairs are great! I was a little nervous to order these because there weren't really any reviews and I didnt have any pictures of what they looked like as part of a whole table set... but I am very happy with them. Can't beat the quality for the price. They are sturdy and come pre-assembled. Only pain points are a small crack in the back of one chair (but disappears with a paint pen), and that the feet don't slide on the rug well at all. I'm using this chair as a desk chair (notice in my pictures, everything in it is from Wayfair:-) ). The chair is sturdy built and comfortable. The wipeable surface is a plus. I honestly could see these used to bring high style to a dining room or a side chair in a seating area. The light wood mixed with the charcoal grey upholstery looks really sharp. Honestly, I can't see anyone not satisfied with this chair. I think it is also sturdy enough and wide enough for larger individuals to feel comfortable and supported in this chair.
