It's a decent chair. Not bad, but not exceptional either. Pro: It looks very nice, and is made of solid wood. Con: The chair, while made of solid wood, creaks ever so slightly when I sit on it. Now, I'm not worried about myself breaking it, as I only weigh 135lbs. But if I was significantly heavier... I wonder how long it would last. Overall: at time of writing, I reviewed the various options, and this was the nicest quality chair on Wayfair in this price range and in the finish that I wanted. It suits my needs and I would buy it again, but this chair may not be the best choice for everyone.. Evan. Waltham, MA. Sun Jul 13 2025

Pull up a chair and stay a while. Constructed out of European beechwood, this armchair is designed and manufactured to offer comfort and durability.

Great sturdy chair Classic design. Cecily. Dallas, TX. Mon Aug 25 2025

This collection takes a number of design and construction techniques from early woodworkers. One example is the uneven board lay-up that shows off the individual pieces of solid wood that make up each part of the furniture.

This oversized armchair features a classic splat-back design and is made to support up to 300 lbs. The sturdy, reinforced frame is made of solid beechwood for strength and stability you can count on through the years. A dark brown finish accentuates the ornate silhouette, making for a refined accent that pairs well with traditional and contemporary settings alike. Charcoal linen polyester fabric is fitted over a plush cushion for easy cleaning and added comfort. This American-made piece arrives fully assembled with foot glides to protect your floors. Commercial grade.

Very good quality. Kari. Ludington, MI. Wed Oct 07 2026

Nice chair that suits my adult daughter’s needs. She is handicapped and it gives her the security she needs since it has arms. It is a lovely chair that blends with the other chairs in the dining room.. Alice. Platte City, MO. Thu Sep 10 2026

When care needs change, the Windsor chair series is designed to prevent falls and reduce the physical demands of family members providing loved ones with mealtime assistance. MOBILITY: This chair features a LOCKABLE-Fully ROTATIONAL-CASTERS. This feature enables the caregiver to move the entire chair away from the table - towards the person requiring mealtime assistance. Why move the person to the table when it’s easier and safer to move the chair to the person? Ask the person to remain standing relying on the support of his/her walker. The caregiver moves the chair directly up behind the standing person and applies the rear locks for safety and invites the person to “sit down.” Once seated, the caregiver releases the brakes and effortlessly moves both the person and the chair back into position at the table. After the meal the caregiver moves the seated person away from the table and using the arms of the chair for support rises and walks straight away from the table. The WINDSOR Chair Series features a “farm house” design with soft honey oak finish is sure to provide warmth within any kitchen. The WINDSOR Series….creating a SAFE and more ENJOYABLE mealtime routine!
