Bought this double screen door because we were screening the deck at our lake house. We have extra wide steps up to the deck and needed a door wider than the standard 32 or 36 inch. Listing said for width less than 68" it could be modified, so we decided to go for it. I was surprised, the instructions were complete, clear, and easy to follow. (So often you get the skimpy badly translated ones.) With a little help from a neighbor we got 2 sets, front and back of deck, installed in about 3-4 hours. Hubby is a metal fabricator, not a carpenter, but he said it was pretty easy once he understood their system. I would say it's a 2 person job, unless you're a really good carpenter. We have 1 side set as a stationary sidelight, only opening the other side. We'll put some planters or knick knacks on the steps in front of the stationary side. Works great! My cat absolutely loves it and took to it in a day. We both appreciate that she doesn’t need my help any more getting out, as raising the window was a hassle. The ability to lock it so she can only come in makes it easy to set a time when we don’t want her to go back out while still letting her come in of her own volition. Also great that we’ll be getting fewer mosquitoes in the house. I wish there was more padding included since the knobs for extending the panels make it so that the bottom is not flush with my window. Love these blinds! The pullpush to lowerraise is very smooth and easy to use. The only thing to warn about is that they are quite sheer.
