The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. This dresser is absolutely gorgeous in person and has a much more expensive look than I expected. Once assembled, it feels very sturdy and well-built.
