Even though I had the measurements - sometimes it is hard to visual what the size will be - it is not as deep (front to back) as I was hoping - the length and height are great. I want to use it to store quilts - like a cedar chest. It won't hold many at all. I do like the look of it. The legs were easy to put on (although the diagram was incorrect on the order of the locking washer and regular washer).
