This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. This is the second time I’ve bought a sofa online from Wayfair. The manufacturers description and pictures of this sofa is so right on! It’s absolutely beautiful and my son even commented that it feels really good and has comforting back support. The brown color is a soft muted brown suede that looks like rich leather. Delivery was fast and the company texted me about delivery details. The delivery team of Gilberto and Aaron were very careful bringing the sofa into my living room and Gilberto had my sofa put together in less than 10 minutes. The assembly went well. The color is a darker gray, although it did say taupe. We’re keeping it for the fact that it’s still matches in our room. This chair replaced a loveseat that we didn’t need anymore. It accommodate a taller person with longer legs due to the dimensions of the cushion from knee to hip. it is a little lower to the ground than I anticipated, but it is doable.
