We bought two of these fans several years ago when we remodeled our downstairs to create two guest bedrooms. We hardly ever turn them on but they work when we do. One thing to note is that because the rooms are next to each other, one remote sometimes turns on and off both fixtures and it’s sometimes hard to control just one.
