White Tin Backsplash

I had been eying a metallic backslash but was concerned that the kitchen would be too dark. I purchased the white vinyl tile to tie in with the white sink and I am so glad that I did. Its beautiful! Although I used liquid nails, I purchased the kit with edging so that if the tile sags down the road, the edging will keep it in place. I haven't yet moved in so I can't comment on how it keeps clean but it certainly is beautiful.. Nmh. Bayonne, NJ. Wed Apr 08 2020

"This kit includes a 5-pack of authentic tin panels along with coordinating trim molding (4' edge trim and 2' inside trim). Each panel features a classic 6"" repeating diamond design—perfectly suited for backsplashes thanks to its balanced symmetry that blends traditional charm with modern appeal. Installation is simple, making it a great DIY project. Beyond backsplashes, the versatility and fire resistance of tin make it an excellent choice for ceilings, accent walls, and more. But what truly sets tin apart is its undeniable wow factor. That’s why homeowners, DIYers, architects, and designers alike use tin tiles to elevate kitchens, foyers, basements, bars, restaurants, and retail spaces—adding timeless elegance and sophistication."

Extremely beautiful. More difficult than I expected to put up but only. Because they are so sturdy. Very heavy. Must have proper tools for cutting. But end result is breathtaking.. Edward. Waynesboro, GA. Tue Aug 29 2017

Love the look of distressed, vintage tin tiles? So do we, but they’re kind of hard to come by these days. Just fake some French country vibes with this peel-and-stick wallpaper! Printed on vinyl, it showcases a white floral tile design, giving you an antique look without the hassle. Plus, it’s perfect for giving your home a quick refresh that’s easy to remove! To apply this wallpaper, just peel off the backing, and position (and re-position!) it to any smooth, flat wall or surface you want. When it comes time to change things up, it peels right off without leaving a sticky residue.

We love the look and received a lot of compliments.. Alayne. Cohoes, NY. Fri Apr 17 2020

I’m taking one star off because the “aggressive” adhesive of the double-sided tape was a challenge to work with. But to the good, plenty was provided. I also wound up applying some hot glue under the seams after I had installed the panels. They weren’t hard to cut and any difficulty I had in fitting the panels into my awkward space was the function of the very old crooked walls. Mine is very atypical I think. I also used silver spray paint down the corners, my only option. But I’m pretty pleased anyway.. Holly. New York, NY. Tue Jul 17 2018

Make your ceiling or accent wall memorable with this pattern. This authentic tin tile has a 12" repeat with arching diamonds that produce tiling floral coins. Its versatile design lends itself to being one of the most popular designs in the industry for its distinct Victorian feel. Easy installation for a DIY ceiling. Over a hundred years ago, the embossed metal panel was introduced to the United States as an alternative to the plasterwork brought over by Venetian artisans. The same quality product exists today: American Tin Ceilings uses only the original .010 gauge tin-plated steel representative of turn-of-the-century tin ceilings - never plastic or Styrofoam imitations.
