This is great. Seems structurally stable. Easy to put together. Two complaints. The silver metal bolts are visible on the outside of the posts, so I’m spray painting those to match the frame. The bigger complaint is that the mattress slides. The bottom rails are smooth and flush. there’s no recessed area for the mattress to sit in to keep it in place. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. Ordered the light oak color and it was true to the photos. Very basic bed but seems sturdy for the price paid. It's not going to be a family heirloom by any means, but it is perfect for my needs in the guest room. Delivery was on time and it was easy enough to put together with an extra set of hands. I ended up cancelling the home assembly. Note: You will need something to cover your box-spring, or bedding that can be tucked down past it, because it will show through the space in the footboard, which is pretty unsightly.. Anonymous. This bed frame is sturdy, attractive, and fairly easy to put together. There are a couple of screws that have to match up with hardware in corner joints that are a bit tricky but my carpenter son took care of the ones I just couldn't get together. The one star off is because the slats are too short. Some of the screws attaching the slats to the bed frame don't make it all the way into the bed frame.
