It has a brass spigot that can be used to hose hook up, or it can be linked to another barrel for extra water collection. It has a debris screen that can prevent contamination of water due to insects, rodents, and other surrounding elements.

I bought one last year to water plants in my greenhouse and garden, and save on the water bill. So happy with it, I got another one for a friend. EDIT 1 year later, it leaks now. Probably should have drained it before freezing weather - water expands as it turns to ice. Also want to add that it's no good without the base, and had a heck of a time arguing with Wayfair "customer service" because they sent me two bases and no barrel. These unique saxophone holders are made with a stave from an authentic whiskey barrel! We currently make these for alto/tenor saxophones. The hanging hardware is sourced from the manufacturer, String Swing, a very reputable company for hanging instruments, and is also located in Wisconsin! We sand each barrel and stave carefully to bring out the unique grains of the white oak while leaving the black marks where the rings of the barrel were. Two pilot holes make it simple to install and black wooden buttons are included to cover the screws. It is given a matte finish which brings out the grains of the oak and a nice light walnut color. Mounting hardware included. These are made with 1/2 length of a normal whiskey barrel stave, so are roughly 17" tall and can vary between 3-5" wide. We love this dog house. We have a 110 pound German shepherd who prefers being outside. I never grew up with an outdoor dog so I was extremely hesitant to move him full time to our backyard, but this dog house made it an easier choice. He’s super happy and so are we. One thing to note is the installation is very tricky. We thought we could do it ourselves but we ended up paying someone 700 to build it for us.
