This is a good looking table but 4 stars because the top of the table is 2 pieces and the wood design doesn’t match (see pictures). The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail. Two holes were stripped and screws would not thread in. Very poor instructions. Table frame is greyish, not black. Top is not wood, but I knew this. It’s actually quite nice. The table is perfect for my purposes and was fairly easy to put together with two people. The drawers come preinstalled to the table top, which is nice, but you would think they would be space properly. They’re don’t slide as well as I would like them too. This is a stunning, substantial piece for my townhome's office/den. I love the black iron bar that runs through it. Great material and color juxtaposition to the solid wood. One caution - the walnut is much more light cherry-ish than medium brownish walnut wood, so it hardly looks like the product photo, but thankfully it still comes across as modern, as I didn't want a traditional-looking desk.
