We attached this to 4x4’s and filled with gravel. It is a sweet little place, but I do wish I’d picked a bigger one!! It does need to be caulked to keep the panels in place. I have not yet assembled it as it will need to be stained/finished to protect from weather and insects. Cedar does not need to be stained and has a natural insect repellant.
