So…I was super excited to get this - and I do love the amount of shade it provides outside of our unit behind our home. Initially, we put it up against our house, but it’s not an exact fit for our back deck, so we moved it to the extended portion of our lot, where we have a couple of buildings; I like it much better out there. My husband put it together, and did say that it is labor intensive, and even more so if you jump in without reading the instructions first - so he highly recommended reading the instructions before getting started. Also; you definitely want to secure it to a building or something - it is heavy enough, but probably not so heavy that a hard windstorm might not send it packing. We have ours mounted, so no worries. We both love the look of it. It is sleek, and good for the price.. Kathryn. Whiteville, NC. Wed Jan 21 2026

Turned out nice. Had this professionally installed and mounted the post in concrete blocks to give more stability. The metal pieces itself is lightweight aluminum but when connected together it’s sturdy. Only gripe are the shade connector poles. Their means of connecting could be improved because they slide off & disconnect from one another every now & then but so far holds up well with rain when shade is pulled back. Haven’t experienced any serious windy conditions yet to speak on so we’ll see. So far overall all good.. Bryant. Miami, FL. Wed May 31 2023

It’s perfect for what I needed. I initially set out to find an aluminum model, but this one ended up being an excellent choice. It gets quite windy in my area, so I really appreciate the additional weight and stability. Assembly went fairly smoothly, although I did have to get a little creative when fitting some of the connectors that join the beams together (time waster for sure, better QA is needed). A good soft mallet definitely comes in handy for getting everything seated properly without damaging the parts. I was also missing one component when the package arrived, but the replacement was shipped within a couple of days. Fortunately, it wasn’t a part that prevented me from completing the assembly and there were no damaged parts. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and feel it was a great fit for my needs.. Extra large, with modern conveniences, Outsunny offers you an aluminum pergola to fit a crowd without feeling crowded. Keep the canopy closed to get rid of glare and stop sunburns underneath, or open the top to let the sunshine. Our patio pergola is made with a wood-grain aluminum frame for the look of wood with greater durability. It also features a set of ground stakes and expansion screws for year-round all-terrain use. Get out, get comfortable, get Outsunny.

Looks great, seems sturdy, has held up to multiple rainstorms. The installation instructions, however, are not great and I had to redo some parts because of it. I knew from reading previous reviews that this would be the case and tried to thoroughly figure out the instructions beforehand but still had issues. The magnet is also odd, I have to reach up and pull it off every time I want to use it.. Kaleigh. US. Mon Aug 26 2024

The pergola, which features a canopy, is designed with an arched roof. The pergola shade cover is composed of an exemplary fabric that effectively shields the user from solar radiation. The frame of this pergola is constructed from solid steel, thereby ensuring stability. The wood colour of the post lends the pergola an air of elegance. Installation of the structure on a patio will enhance the aesthetic appeal of the outdoor space. The pergola provides an ideal setting for relaxation in the company of family and friends.

Perfect for my needs. It took 3 people about 2 hour to install. Looks great, exactly fitted the space I had. I also used it to attach some shade sails.. Russell. Pikesville, MD. Wed Sep 23 2026
