I’ve never had a duvet cover. I’m used to a comforter or an occasional blanket so my expectations were low. Plus my body temp runs hot. This oversized king Beige duvet is perfect! The 100 cotton works well for hot sleepers. I sleep like a baby with this. I don’t wake up feeling hot or sweaty like I normally do. I love the lived-in look of the fabric. The included pillowcases have that envelope enclosure so I don’t have to worry about my pillows slipping out. I love the ruffled borders of the pillows too. This is a good set at a good price point. The duvet cover is soft, silky, and lightweight, about the weight of a bedsheet, but exceptionally soft. I paired it with a lightweight, inexpensive goose-down insert, and it gives me just the right amount of warmth without feeling heavy or suffocating. Without the insert, the duvet cover could easily function as an extra sheet on the bed. It has 8 ties, which do a great job of keeping the insert in place, and it was very easy to wash. I dried it on high heat, and it came out great with no wrinkles. The photo was taken before adding the insert, so it may look a little wrinkled because I hadn't adjusted it. I was mainly trying to gauge the size on a full-size bed. I ultimately used it on a queen bed, and it's the perfect size - enough coverage without looking overly oversized. My only complaint was the smell when I first opened the package. It had a very strong, fecal-like odor, so I immediately had to throw it in the wash. This is a great duvet cover! It fit my new 98x98 insert perfectly, and it’s so nice having a queen duvet cover that doesn’t feel undersized because it was meant to also work on a full bed. This cover washed well and dried well on the lowest heat setting, but it did need to be pulled out and rearranged over a couple cycles. Remove it asap to avoid wrinkles. It’s very soft and looks high quality. There are internal ties on all 4 corners, plus one on the center of each side.
