The sunshade cloth/shade panel is made of anti-ultraviolet material, which is light and durable. 90% shading rate, mesh design, breathable, more suitable for blocking sunlight and heat. Multi-purpose application, can be used in pergola, patio cover, greenhouse, garden plants, swimming pool, balcony, kennel and other areas where you want to create comfortable shade.

Useful product. I like the grommets all the way around for secured tie-down. Bought the 10x10 to update an older shade frame that lost its previous canopy from a winter storm. This comes with elastic bungee tie straps (though not enough for all grommets) I also used zip ties for extra security. Price reasonable compared to other online retailers.. Shirley. Red Lion, PA. I needed some shade for the car with the heat this year. I have purchased shade sails from WAYFAIR in past years. The awning arrived intact and we are in the process of completing this project: painting posts with tops and using dacron line with clips we can remove it for tropical storms/hurricanes. The color and fabric match what I have for other awning/shade sails. Thank-you.. Karen. Avon Park, FL. Tue Jun 30 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I have been able to get a picture of how great this shade is due to a delay in my back yard materials coming in but trust me when I say this was bigger than I expected. The material isn’t cheap tarp. It’s built to last a while and be heater resistant. The instillation seems very simple all the hooks are built right in you just need the support system in place. This is going to be great shade for our dogs and us. Laurenr468. Mon Jul 08 2024

Why didnt I buy this shade sail earlier I cannot believe how much it has cooled our pool and how much more comfortable we are when we are outside. My 26 yr-old son even commented about how surprised he was when he got in the water today to escape the 96 degree temperature. He was surprised that the water felt cool instead of like a sauna! This is one of my favorite Wayfair purchases ever! Our neighbors came over to see about getting one for their pool after seeing ours. We LOVE this! It’s 4 years old and looks just as good as the day we got it! No fading! Gorgeous. Kristi. Ellerbe, NC. Thu Aug 06 2026

Made very well!! Made a shade for the horses since it was going to be 105 all week. Material is thick and the cable running through it is nice because you don’t have to worry about the material ripping like a normal shade cloth. Hardware is nice and heavy. Anonymous. Tue Aug 04 2026

This shade sail is made of a thick but flexible material that should provide just the right amount of protection from the sun without being a total "sunblock" (or completely waterproof) and the reinforced attachment points on the sail seem sufficiently strong. I haven't yet installed it, but the included kit appears to be very comparable to the separate installation kit I ordered just in case the included kit was flimsier or more difficult to use. This particular brand of sail offered a lot of different size options, which is ideal if you are looking for a sail to fit a space with unequal distances between the triangle points. The sail I ordered measures 20' x 20' x 28.3'. it came with a installation hardware kit but I can't yet comment on whether the hardware kit works well. I also ordered another hardware kit in case I needed a different installation option than the one included. Unfortunately, Wayfair said it delivered both when I never received the additional hardware kit. After waiting 3 days to see if there was a problem with how the item was scanned, I have reported the missing delivery and hope that I will receive that other installation kit so that I can choose which kit will work better for installing the sai.. Enjoy stylish sun protection with this durable shade sail. Designed to resist fading, mold, mildew, and weather, this sail provides reliable shade year-round. It' s perfect for creating comfortable outdoor spaces.

It's great quality and the color matches, however I didn't measure correctly and ordered a size too small. Unfortunately it won't work for the area we need but that is no fault of my own. Re-ordered same brand just a bigger size.. Candace. Saint Petersburg, FL. Tue Jun 02 2026

Super nice but I ordered the wrong size--I reordered a larger size.. Glen. Lehigh Acres, FL. Mon Jul 27 2026

this is a replacement for an older shade. Found the eyelets to be superior in this Royal unit but have not had time to install but from inspection the stitching is the key. I can tell immediately we will be able to stretch firmer. While the fabric is thiner, it will provide a better solution and the mounting hardware is all there.. Rick. La Quinta Ca. Mon Nov 03 2025

Its unique HDPE knitted fabric blocks up to 85% of the sun's harmful UV rays and is breathable to allow warm air to escape through, substantially reducing the temperatures below.

a slight bit of a "plastic" look, but have used it for years now as roof to pergola and it's held up quite well. You might want to layer up two if you want serious sun protection - a single layer lets quite a bit of light through. I found two layered together ideal at least for my purposes and preferences. I love my new sail shade. Just what I’d hoped it would be like installing. As a 78 year old fella, I had it attached to my house in no time at all. Now, I’ve got to find a way to layer another one. Back soon.. Robert. Roanoke, VA. Wed May 15 2024

This shade sail is perfect for lowering the temperature in the pool. The water was 94° and not conducive to swimming. The day the shade sail was installed, the water temperature dropped to a refreshing 84° with the same high temperature in the high 90s.The pool can now be enjoyed all day. With UV indexes high every day here in Georgia (could not get the address listed to change) a portion of the pool is shaded all day. With the noted change in water temperature, another shade sail was ordered to block the sun from patio doors facing SW. That will be added soon and a review forthcoming.. Barbara. Pine Bluff, AR. This canopy is distinguishing the material of it from other normal top covers, as a result, keeps you away from the light rain. A waterproof canopy on rainy days while a sun shade sail on sunny days! perfect serve as cooling shade, scenic shade travel shade, auto shade, plant shade in your courtyard, garden, balcony, garage, deck, patio, pool-or entertainment area, and so on. Waterproof! Durable, we have several in different colors and have lasted over 3 summers without fading or Tearing and we live only 5 miles off the beach with sometimes high wind and hurricane times! That’s saying a lot;) we extended ours from roof to our deck and it stands as our sheltered in area!! Can sit under it during rain and all! Don’t even need to shelter our deck now! We disconnect it in winter and connect it during summer using brackets mounted to the deck and house and with belt clips. Anonymous. Holden Beach Nc. Tue Apr 06 2021
