I love this ice maker! It makes ice very quickly and cubes come out whole instead of in chunks. When I turn it on it makes a batch within minutes. The only downside is it doesn’t hold a lot of ice, so if I need a larger quantity I have a container my freezer that I can fill, also very quickly. At first I was concerned that there is no access to the ice because my old ice maker used to jam up, however, I have had no issues so far. The water dispenser is also a nice feature. It still has a plastic-like taste, but that should go away. The ice has no taste, just clean & clear. One of the major benefits is that it uses a water line which I have an inline filter attached to so there’s no need to fill it up all the time. Absolutely love this refrigerator. It is my first counter-depth refrigerator and I was very concerned there would not be enough room to store all our food in it. We are extremely happy with this water cooler. We were renting one through a water company and opted to purchase this one. This water cooler is significantly quieter than the previous one we had (Primo Brand). Whereas it would make a loud noise when when pouring room temperature water this unit makes zero noise. Mind you, we are not using the hot or cold water functionally continuously but only as needed to cut down on our electricity bill. This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. It’s very easy to use, just pour water in, plug it in and about 9 cubes every 6 minutes as it states is true. I’m very pleased and I would whole-heartedly recommend this product fully.. Dean.
