Took a chance on this one since there weren't many reviews and glad I did. Very solid built. I plan to use this as an aquarium stand for a 35 gallon tank (probably 300lbs) and there won't be any problems. I'm a semi-handy person and I was putting this together on my own then my husband jumped in to help. In total took us maybe an hour. Alone, maybe would take 1.5 hours. And I know doors are always a problem when putting cabinets together and this one was not a problem. Lined up pretty well without much fuss. Black walnut color is spot on. Not too dark like some can be. You can still see the grain. And this is solid wood too. Not that cheap particle board stuff. Came with 2 shelves but I only put one in. The plant pot is a bright white color so you can see what the stain color looks like. Side note: I very much appreciate that nearly all of the packaging is recyclable. There was no styrofoam.. Jenny. I am a woman and put this together myself sitting on the floor the whole assembly. It is packaged very well and I had a time getting it out of the box. The predrilled holes were a little hard to find but following the instructions line by line showed them after using my cell phone flashlight. The assembly was not difficult. The most challenging part was putting the back cover on as it did not have predrilled holes. After trying to drill the screws with no predrilled holes, I settled on McGyvering the back panel and it is just as good and Im satisfied. The cabinet is sturdy. Well made and looks good and compliments other items I have in my home. I bought this cabinet for bedside books and stow away for things I always put on dresser to clear clutter. This really is solid wood, which I think is pretty unusual these days. All of the fastener holes were precisely milled so it was very easy to put together. It prob took my an hour and a half to put together two cabinets, attach them and get them in place.
