Perfect little loveseat/couch for our room. Cushions on back can be removed. I take them off and put one by the end arm. I'm short so I can lay down on it with the cushion raising my legs over the arm of the loveseat. The cushions are firm. The bottom is flat enough to comfortable lay down.
