These chairs are solid and substantial. Each set of 2 came packaged well and fully assembled. Cushions are firm almost hard. Don’t worry and just wiggle around… I broke in all 4 chairs in 5 minutes and now I sink in when I sit. Truly thick padding. The clay color is a mauve clay color in natural light. Under a bright cool light led setting I can see the pinkish color. My dining room is natural light or warm lit so the color is truly nice. I love my purchase. Just need my new table to arrive.. John. The chairs were carefully packed to avoid damage. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow except for the part with the chair stretchers. That was a bit confusing and I had to reassemble it to make it fit right. Also some of the holes were difficult to align. Once the chairs were completely assembled, they appeared very sturdy and solidly built. The white linen fabric is beautiful and will match most decors. The chairs are lovely, a rich brown color, no reddish tint to them. Haven’t had much time sitting on them but they seem comfortable.
