This vent cover looks really nice in my newly renovated bathroom. It is quite stylish and complements the other gold fixtures in the room. My reason for only rating it 4 stars is that it was missing the vent mounting clips and instructions when it arrived. While Wayfair sent the clips several days later, I feel it never should have been sent without them. The write-up said that they were included in the packaging and since other customers have noted this omission, quality control should have caught this error.. Ruby. Temple Hills, MD. Sat Jul 11 2026

Add a clean, decorative finish to your wall or ceiling supply vent with this unfinished wooden register made from a 1/4" thick birch wood panel. Each register is crafted to fit the selected duct opening size and includes 2 installation holes with 2 standard steel countersink screws. Decorative brass screws may be available as a selectable option. The natural unfinished wood surface can be painted or stained to match your room, trim, ceiling, or wall décor. White semigloss paint is available as a selectable option.  These registers are designed to screw into drywall. For the best fit, order by the actual duct opening size, not by the size of your existing cover. Remove the old register, measure the inside width and length of the duct opening, and select the matching size, with width listed first and length listed second. For example, a 6" x 10" duct opening will have an overall vent size of approximately 8" x 12", allowing a 1" border around the opening for installation. Please note that this decorative register cover does not include louvers or a damper box to redirect airflow. All our designs are airflow tested to guarantee maximum efficiency.

ORDERING CORRECT SIZE: Always measure the duct opening size to determine which size to purchase. This size fits a standard duct opening of 4”x10”. To measure your duct opening for a 4" x 10" vent, simply measure the width and length of the inside edges of the duct opening. The width should be 4 inches, and the length should be 10 inches. Ensure your measurements are taken from edge to edge for an accurate fit. Do not measure the old vent cover, remove the old vent and measure the duct opening. EASE OF INSTALLATION: FOR FLOOR: installation is gravity drop. The Achtek Vent from Registers & Hardware fits seamlessly into floor openings without the need for tools ensuring a quick and hassle-free setup. This makes the installation process smooth and efficient, ensuring your vent covers are securely and aesthetically installed. FOR WALL/CEILING: Counter sunk screw holes, provided with matching screws. LOUVERS / DAMPERS: The grilles come with detachable and adjustable metal louvers, featuring horizontal parallel slats, fins, or blades. These can be manually opened or closed using a lever on one side of the vent to regulate airflow from the air duct. The louvers/dampers are secured to the vent face with machine screws, allowing for easy removal or reattachment as needed. DURABILITY & QUALITY MATERIAL: Handcrafted in Solid Sand Cast Aluminum with heavy gauge face plate thickness of approx. 3/16" (4.76 mm), these vent covers are built for durability. Aluminum metal has property of being rust and corrosion resistant in any weather condition. STURDY: Our vent covers are suitable for cool and hot airflow as well as fireplace grills. The heat-cured, fine grain powder-coated finish ensures durability and long-lasting performance. RUST-RESISTANT: The durable metal construction ensures easy maintenance and long-lasting quality. To measure your size correctly, remove the existing vent cover and measure the size of the duct. The duct opening size is what should be ordered. The Ribbon grille is a resin (polyurethane) decorative vent cover that is light in weight yet sturdy and strong. Grilles are unfinished and ready for you to primer and paint to achieve the perfect color for your setting. Each grille is made using a casting process that allows for a three-dimensional look. Grilles will not rust and are not prone to corrosion which makes them excellent for high-humidity areas and dry areas alike. Ribbon grilles are flat on the back and have no inserts. Grilles should not be used on the floor and are only for wall and ceiling applications for central air conditioning and heating systems. Due to the nature of the curing process, grilles can vary very slightly in size so please take the measurements as an approximate size. All grilles should be installed using the provided screws to ensure a safe application. Please note, that these grilles are intended to be primed/painted and will come in an off-white beige color.

I recently installed the Honeycomb Brass Floor Register from Signature Hardware, and it’s truly elevated the look of my space. The antique brass finish adds a touch of timeless elegance, and the honeycomb design is both classic and eye-catching without being overly ornate. Installation was a breeze — it mounts from the front and fits snugly into the duct opening. I appreciate that the mounting hardware is concealed, giving it a clean, seamless appearance. The solid brass construction feels sturdy and built to last, and it’s clear this isn’t just a decorative piece — it’s functional and well-made. If you're looking to upgrade your vent covers with something that blends style and substance, this register is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be ordering more for the rest of the house!. Exactly what I needed. Great product. Terry. Norton, VA. Fri Aug 21 2026

This rectangular vent grille features a clean matte white finish that seamlessly integrates with any modern interior design. The sleek rectangular design incorporates four horizontal linear slots with dark interior channels that create an attractive contrast against the white frame. Unlike standard grilles with visible mounting screws, this model uses hidden fasteners for a cleaner, more professional appearance. The matte white powder-coated finish resists fading and yellowing over time while maintaining its pristine look. The dust-resistant design features smooth surfaces that prevent buildup and make cleaning effortless. This versatile grille works perfectly for both ceiling and wall installations, making it ideal for residential and commercial HVAC applications. The modern linear aesthetic complements contemporary architecture and interior designs, from minimalist kitchens to sophisticated office spaces. The durable construction ensures long-lasting performance while the streamlined profile maintains optimal airflow efficiency. This grille represents a significant upgrade from traditional vents, offering superior aesthetics without compromising functionality.

The vent cover arrived quickly and in good condition. I like the modern, clean style and the screws are hidden. The installation instructions are clear and remind you multiple times to measure the opening and purchase the cover appropriate for the space. There is no wheel or mechanism to open and close the baffles. You use your fingers or a screwdriver which could be a pain if you are using it in a ceiling or other difficult to access area. I have not installed yet but as I said its pretty straightforward as long as I have the right size.. Sharon. Wilkes Barre, PA. Sun May 03 2026
