Overall, I absolutely love this desk! It did arrive with a few minor issues that Wayfair rectified. This is a solid piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend paying for the delivery and setup. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. The Leg and Shelf are well made of sturdy material, with no issues with wobble after locking down the wheels. This crafting table is on casters that lock/unlock which makes it easy to move without scratching the new floors but also stationary when needed. This cabinet is awesome!! Unfortunately my sewing machine with the dust cover doesnt fit on the under side shelf but Ive got in its carrier bag and that fits on top just fine.
