Probably the biggest disappointment. The photos show this beautiful natural-looking light that gives the stand a sleek, expensive look. That is NOT what you get. The lights are cheap AF and basically give you blue, red, and green. No natural-looking light like what’s shown in the pictures, and it doesn’t give off that same nice glow at all. I genuinely don’t understand how this has so many good reviews. Maybe everyone is looking at it from across the room because UP CLOSE Absolutely not. I should’ve known better for the price I paid, but I still expected the product to at least resemble what was advertised. If I could give this -5 stars, I would. This is a lovely insert. It's hard-to-find smaller ones, size wise. Many fireplaces are quite large. It can be wall mounted or recessed, but we are building it a cabinet so it can be a tv stand for a small bedroom area. It has a convenient place for the remote. Very pleased!
