This is a useful little side table. I do wish the lamp swiveled, or had multiple brightness settings, so that I could vary how much light Im getting from it. I honestly did not feel comfortable attempting the setup because I was worried that if I connected something wrong, it could cause serious damage or even a fire. No customer should feel that kind of stress over a product that’s supposed to be simple to install. On top of that, the top light arrived bent, which was disappointing right out of the box. This product needs much better instructions or, even better, should come pre-wired so customers can simply mount it and plug it in as expected. As it stands, this is not beginner-friendly, not convenient, and does not feel safe to install. I would not recommend this item unless the manufacturer improves the design and installation process..
