The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. Crafted of cherry veneers, rattan, and resin, it is finished in the deep, rich Maraschino cherry. There are five drawers. The left and right top drawers have one removable partition, one writing slide, and a pencil tray for use in either drawer. The center drawer has a drop-front for keyboard use. Antique bronze round knobs and ring-pull hardware add the finishing touch.
