Vintage Old Fashioned Ceiling Fans

This ceiling fan delivers cottage-inspired, traditional style to your home. It's made with a finished frame and wood blades, and it includes a light kit, down rod, shade, and blades. This ceiling fan features a hanging propeller design with a caged body made with colorful stained glass with a pointed finial for a vintage-inspired look. We love that this ceiling fan features pull-chain operation but also includes a remote control as well as adapts to wall controls. It's compatible with a dimmer switch for customized lighting, and the blades are reversible to change the spinning direction.

This stained glass fan has to be one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair. It’s beautiful, timeless, and classy, it makes me feel like I’m living an old Florida dream in the early 1900s. It is the perfect fit for my Florida Room Guest Suite. I will share that the light it gives is minimal. The space I am using it in is a naturally bright room because of the wall of windows I have. For me it is perfect and sets the right vibe. I would suggest an additional lamp or two if you like a well lit room. Package was not damaged and everything inside was in good condition. I would suggest two people for mounting and read directions well for a successful installation of this fan. The lightbulbs in the top portion of the fan will be difficult to change when the time comes, this may be my only con in regard to this fan. Included with the fan is a remote for ease of use. You can also turn on two sets of lights with the pull strings attached to the fan, one lights up just the top portion and the other lights up the main light globe on the bottom portion. This is a beautiful fan. I love the way it looks over our kitchen table. The only thing you should know is it doesn't put out enough light because it is stained glass. I was going to increase the watts of the bulbs but they are a weird type. Plus to do that in the top portion above the fan you would have to take the whole thing apart. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light.
