This bed is very solid and sturdy! The assembly was easy but time consuming as I put it together myself. It took a few hours. My only complaint is there was a small bubble of paint on one of the finials that flaked off leaving the metal underneath exposed. It had a bit of rust on it. Some touch up paint should solve the problem. This bed is beautiful and I’m very happy with it!. Lorraine. Maine. Mon Sep 28 2026

Because the system includes its own steel slats, your mattress rests directly on the base to simplify your setup. The bed frame is simple but quite pretty and sturdy. The low profile footboard doesn’t cut into a small room - helps to keep it open. And there are two height choices. The taller choice allows for a nice space underneath for storage. The only thing I worry about is the plastic spacers that keep the crossbars for the platform in place. If a person needed to take the bed apart for any reason, I would worry that those spacers would wear out.. Michele. Harlingen, TX. Fri May 15 2026
