This desk is stunning. It was so easy to put together. The desktop came with the drawers built and installed and all we had to do was screw on the legs. I had to get furniture for 7 offices and 3 waiting rooms. I chose to spend much less on all desks - except this one. I am so glad I splurged. After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. I wish I could leave a five star for this desk but its quality does not meet that standard. The legs of the desk are solid wood but the top part is very cheap veneer like material. Considering the price I give it four stars but why they didn’t just make the top of the desk a solid wood is disappointing. It takes about 40-45 minutes to put together because the top of the desk comes in many pieces you have to put together. I’m not using this as an actual desk so it works out fine. However, if you’re looking for everyday use, I would not recommend this desk. It looks cheap and the material is cheap except for the legs. It’s a definite you get what you pay for with this desk.
