This reclaimed pine chest is a one-of-a-kind piece that will make any room stand out. The piece features a unique bow front that is pleasing to any eye.

So the dresser is absolutely beautiful and larger in scale than anticipated. Initially purchased for my young daughter but the drawers are not on any track system and there is nothing to prevent them from being pulled out entirely. The pine is actually very soft like new pine, not hard and dense like "old wood." Wood is also rather unfinished and a bit splintery. I will be adding a wax layer to make it softer to the touch and prevent staining since it will now be used as an accent cabinet. It really is charming and I like it, but not quite what I expected. Smell is very unpleasant but I imagine that will go away with time. Completely assembled, even feet. Cant recommend for a child's use or for heavy frequent use. Good for a guest room or entry.. We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included).
