This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. The couch is exquisite. Firm but very comfortable. The color is a royal blue. I love it. What i didn't like, hence the 4 stars, is the confusion regarding delivery and assembly. Fed Ex dropped the couch off in my front yard in hot sun with rain coming. I couldn't move it. Very simple to put together. Getting the covers on the cushions was a little tricky but after doing two I figured it out quickly.To get rid of the wrinkles others have mentioned,as you are zipping the covers reach inside and adjust the cushion.Try to make sure all corners are filled. Also I bought some strips of velcro to make sure the cushions stay in place. Oh make sure you have a person help with getting the back put in. It makes it a little easier. You might need to manipulate the arms a little bit.But trust me it will fit. It looks nice and is comfortable to sit in. I like the material also, no more dog hair stuck in the couch. Kim. This is a nice looking sofa at a good price! I like the shape and the fabric. A few things to note: 1) I ordered "brown" but it really reads "gray"; however, the color is pretty neutral so it goes with anything; add some pillows and it looks great; 2) the back is FIRM so you really sit upright on it; this isn't something you sink into; 3) it's really comfortable to lay down on, which is what I wanted. The assembly does take quite a while, especially if youre putting it together by yourself. One thing to note is that parts K1 and K2 were confusing because they werent labeled correctly, and the L and R labels were reversed, so I had to disassemble part of the sofa before I could continue. It’s a very comfy and spacious couch. I think it’s versatile as it can complete a small or a large space as needed. This olive green looks really lovely in the sunlight! I’m 5 ft tall, so the low height of the couch doesn’t feel like an issue. I have a really tight space to work with for my living room area, and the curved shape really helps give it more structure and leave space for a coffee table. Just need to get a larger rug to bring it all together! The deliveries were separate but completed in a timely manner, and the assembly process was very fast and easy.
