I had order a beautiful cactus themed clay bowl from Studio A before and it was/is awesome, but this was a little on the less high end side. The craftsmanship was a little lacking in the closing mechanism and there were some scratches on the back that didn't add character; they were just scratches. I didn't return it because of the hassle and because Wayfair has been good to me over the years on returns, and it looks nice on the shelf, but closer inspection would show the flaws.. Kimberly. Wow! I love these…but I had no idea they were painted or printed wood (the multicolored all over design); I honestly thought the colored design was fabric and that these were fabric covered boxes! They look like fabric in the pics online, and even in person. It wasn’t until I got them and removed them from the great and careful packaging that I touched them and was shocked that they were all wood. Even better, i thought, because they won’t get pilled or snag over time like fabric would. I also wasn’t expecting them to be so BIG! I mean, I saw the measurements, but the larger one is so much bigger then I imagined it would be…this isn’t necessarily a problem per se, but it does mean that I’ll have to find a different use for the larger one then I planned, which is fine.
