This bed is very cute, but earns a four for the way it goes together. Not the sturdiest design on the center join where two frame pieces meet in the middle. It's adequate, but could be designed better. The design side of the footboard should face toward the room and not to the interior of the bed. The three holes were pre-drilled on the non-decorative side so if you flip it, there are only two holes and not a space for the peg that serves as a place-holder while joining the footboard to the rail so it is more difficult to assemble. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions.
