I do love this silverware, especially that it is a true white. The reason for the four stars is that one of the two sets I bought had scratches to it and the plastic sleeves were open on that set. After thinking about it, I wonder if that set hadn’t been used and returned. I’m waiting for some different sets to come from Horchow. If they aren’t true white, I’ll probably buy more of this from Wayfair.. Sherri. Atoka, TN. Thu Mar 17 2022

The box it came in was just cardboard box which I was surprised since it’s a very nice brand. Silverware though came in little plastic foil wrap so it was kind of protected. Besides poor packaging everything looks beautiful. It’s shiny and so clear you can use it as a mirror. Also the knives are so sharp I had to put them away from little kids hands but for cutting purposes they are great. Beautiful set for 4, might get another one for when we’re entertaining and we need bigger set.. Malgorzata. Dunedin, FL. Mon Feb 23 2026

We bought a full set plus extra teaspoons and tablespoons; but over the course of time pieces are missing. A spoon here, a spoon there. The silverware is BEAUTIFUL - but I ordered several sets and all but one was missing at least one piece of the set. Took three tries for replacement to get them, and still short some pieces but I accepted a partial refund and was DONE dealing with it. I was guaranteed that the replacement silverware sets would be checked to be sure all pieces were there, but that obviously didn't happen... they pretty much made it right (except still missing a couple of pieces/refunded) but it was quite a hassle!. Pricey but worth it! I searched and searched for flatware NOT MADE IN CHINA! It was very difficult! Most familiar names (and those that used to be associated with quality) are not made in America anymore. For example: Reed and Barton, Onida, Lenox, Micasa, Kate Spade. The quality of these aforementioned brands has decreased dramatically. I would have loved to buy American: yet, I only found one company aptly named Liberty. However, they did not carry a style to my liking. This product is made in Italy and made well. . Sheryl. MD. Sun Aug 16 2020
