I bought this bench because I thought I needed somewhere to sit and put on my shoes. What I apparently needed was a whole new personality. This bench instantly made my entryway look like I hired an interior designer who charges way more than I’m willing to admit. The wood has that beautiful, rustic, perfectly imperfect texture that makes it look like it has a story—even though I ordered it from my couch while wearing pajamas. It’s sturdy, beautiful, and the perfect size. I added a pillow and throw, and suddenly my entryway is giving “cozy European farmhouse” instead of “please ignore the pile of shoes by the door.” My only complaint is that now I want to redecorate the entire house around the bench. 1010 would absolutely buy again. Also the hardware comes packaged so that you cut off the top and they’re all in little pockets which I felt was not intentional by the supplier but super helpful when putting together and keeping things organized. I really want to give 5 stars for quality look and feel of fabric, legs, design and ease of assembly. Received bench which 1 side support and end major flaws - filled and covered up a miss-drilled hole in 1 end piece and a splice one side rail. Would never have purchased without a serous discount if at all. I have neither time or patience to undo partial assembly and rebox to return. Seem to be other comments after reading many more of them. Not a one off issue, buyer beware. Also has protective slides on the legs in white, on dark wood.
