Instructions wrong, pilot holes wrong, needed modifying, wouldn’t fold properly, in proper hinge placement. Hardware cheap, and lots of pieces were bubbled.I should have looked at reviews before I bought this item. I have bought a lot from Wayfair and it’s usually very good but this piece was not built well. My husband is very handy and I heard him swear a LOT. Do not buy this period 0 out of 10. Stay away if you like your life. Also hardware bag was broken upon arrival. Heidi. Sat Aug 15 2026

I had to come back and edit my review because at first when opening the boxes I was pleasantly surprised to to see that it was actually painted solid wood and not veneer or wrapped MDF. As we started putting it together there was imperfections in the pant and the screws were to long and popped through the finished. None of the doors line up some pieces are chipped and the entire thing will need to be repainted. Christina. US. Wed Mar 18 2026

As mentioned in other reviews, the assembly is not easy. The directions consist of pictures of exploded diagrams of various stages with no words, so you have to be really good at looking at the pictures and making sure your pieces are facing the correct direction, the correct side, etc. Double check to avoid having to deconstruct and reconstruct! You definitely need at least two people to assemble this, and you definitely need a drill to do the screwing and some of the drilling that is required. And even better if both of the people have drills! Theres no way you can hand screw this thing unless you have weeks and weeks. Speaking of time, it took us a total of about 12 hours. And my husband is a woodworker and builds things on the regular, so thatll give you some context. What worked for us was to initially take all of the pieces out of the three boxes and place in piles according to their letter and number designation. We did find a couple of pieces that did not have markings and also a couple that were mis-marked, but we could figure out what piece they were supposed to be. There is an annoying white warning sticker on the face of the bed that is really difficult to get off. Also, the brackets to secure to the wall are kind of an eyesore inside of the bed frame. The other pictures show a couple of areas of damage that came with the bed.. Katherine. Essex Junction, VT. Sun Sep 27 2026
