I’m reviewing this prematurely. Haven’t even see the solar lights on at night yet, but these fit perfectly on our existing fiberon symetry decking railings. You mount them on posts that you stake into the ground, and during the day the solar panel atop the lights collects rays from the sun, charging the battery within so that energy can be utilized as light when it gets dark. I like the way these lights look on my brick fence, they are not powerful at all, but provide a warm accent light, will hold the charge for about 6 hours. They are well made, however during shipping they got scratch (poor packaging), also 2 out of 4 lights I had to open the battery compartment as one of the battery leads came apart, though it was easy to fixreassemble.
