The seat cushion and backing are soft velvet feel and legs sparkle especially in the sunlight. First chair was a lot easier to assemble but the second one wasn’t lining up well so there was a big gap in the back base so not sure how sturdy it will be. Eventually over time and lots of strength and force, I was able to close the gap but it’s definitely not as aligned as the other chair. Admittedly the lighting in this photo is awful so everything looks dark and dingy but irl these chairs are beautiful. The orange is darker than I expected, more of a burnt orange than a true tangerine color like the pic on the website but I think they still work with my rug, especially when I get table settings in place.
