This table is very sturdy and heavy! It works great in our short term rental dining room. The finish had imperfections upon arrival and a new table top was sent to us, but it also had some imperfections in the veneer surface. It now has a "well loved" look and a bit of a patina so it actually works well for us. The first image shows the size with one additional insert, it comes with one other insert, so it can extend to quite a length. The other two images show the type of imperfections that are across most of the surface. The white bits and the cup ring are shown after a good cleaning with a damp cloth and they are not removable. This is Leighton Hall’s most popular table. It is made-to-order in the Leighton Hall shop. It has the perfect combination of size, proportion, and eye appeal. The LH-7 is a Sheraton-style dining table with "D" shaped ends. It features a swirly-crotch mahogany field, black/white and exotic wood inlays, and satinwood and pau ferro borders with a three-beaded edge. This is a multi-banded formal mahogany dining table. It features a field of swirly crotch mahogany with an inner border of Pau Ferro and an outer border of swirly crotch mahogany. It has a medium brown mahogany color with a hand steel wool rubbed satin sheen. This finish allows it to blend in well with existing antiques. It has a solid mahogany three beaded edge. The two pedestals have three fluted legs which terminate with antique brass lion’s paw feet. It has two 20” leaves. It seats six guests when the leaves are not installed and 8-10 guests when both leaves are installed.
