Curtain rod is actually the one bought and did a review on, now with the blackout curtains. The curtains are velvety and the bedroom is now about 70 darker than before. I would have appreciated it mor if the bacoutwr curtain that faced towards the window was covered by a a much thicker material, it would have made a much better difference. Love these curtains! They say they are blackout and if I had blinds for my windows they most likely would be. They do filter out quite a bit of light even with no blinds and have significantly cooled down the temperature in the room. I wish I could give a 4.75 star, but looks wise and quality, color etc. are worth a 5. The tabs on the back are not spaced correctly to hang the way they should at the ends. I simple tucked the ends to make them look right. As long as nobody moves the drape , they'll be fine. But at some point I'm going to do a quick single tuck stitch, to permanently fix the issue. Might not bother others, but my Mother owned her own drapery company when I was growing up, so I know how they SHOULD lay. First pic shows how they hang if you don't fold/tuck it over on itself. These curtains are nice. The velvet fabric feels lovely. The creases came out after ten minutes in the dryer on low heat with a damp hand towel. My only complaint is that the side edges are shorter and lift up at the bottom, so they aren't consistently at the same length when hung. They are truly room darkening.
