Curtain rod is actually the one bought and did a review on, now with the blackout curtains. The curtains are velvety and the bedroom is now about 70 darker than before. I would have appreciated it mor if the bacoutwr curtain that faced towards the window was covered by a a much thicker material, it would have made a much better difference. Love these curtains! They say they are blackout and if I had blinds for my windows they most likely would be. They do filter out quite a bit of light even with no blinds and have significantly cooled down the temperature in the room.
