The seat cushion and backing are soft velvet feel and legs sparkle especially in the sunlight. First chair was a lot easier to assemble but the second one wasn’t lining up well so there was a big gap in the back base so not sure how sturdy it will be. Eventually over time and lots of strength and force, I was able to close the gap but it’s definitely not as aligned as the other chair. If you are getting the chairs more so for decorations, they would be perfect but every day use I don’t see it happening. Update Wayfair sent me my replacements so I am happy about that.
